Hello serge218,
Do you have App Limits set on your own device or is this for a child's device? With App Limits, when you approach the allotted amount of time, you should get a pop-up on your screen that says you've reached the limit. You have the option to select "Okay," which exits the app, or "Ignore Limit" which allows you to continue to use the app.
You can read more about App Limits here: Set up Screen Time for yourself on iPhone - Apple Support
Are you receiving this notification on your screen while using Netflix? Do you receive it for other apps?
If not, try temporarily disabling App Limits and then re-enabling the feature.
We also suggest making sure your device is up-to-date: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Let us know if that helps.
Take care.
Thank you for providing those details, serge218.
It was previously recommended to update the devices. If you haven't already, please update your devices to see if the issue persists. If you continue having issues after updating your devices, the next step would be to delete and recreate the limit for Netflix.
To delete and recreate the limit, you'll want to go in Settings > Screen Time > [your child's name] > App Limits and remove and re-add the limit for Netflix. You can find more information about using parental controls in the following article.
Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Let us know how that goes!
Hi. This is for the child's device. They don't have permission to use more time than allocated. Yet they've been doing that somehow.
