Unable to set up Siri with "Didn't quite get that" error message

Hi! It took me forever to figure out how to solve this problem and I wanted to let other people know how I fixed that issue. The problem was that I don't have cellular data (or it could be that it was turned off). I went to the Settings, then in Cellular Data, then scrolled all the way down. Then I deactivated Wi-Fi assist which means my iPad (Pro 5th gen) won't automatically use cellular data when my Wi-Fi connectivity is poor. When I tried to setup Siri after that it was working. I hope this helps!

Siri uses speech recognition try setting it up again. --> If Siri or "Hey Siri" isn't working - Apple Support
