How do I get my computer to stop prompting me with the messsage? "This iPhone wants to use your iCloud account."

I have a MacBook Air (2020). I continuously get pop-up messages in the top-right corner of my screen saying "This iPhone wants to use your iCloud account." The messages will come in spurts. One right after another over the course of an hour. And then they'll stop. And then they'll start again. It's really annoying and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to when they appear. I'm given a choice to "accept" or "deny." It doesn't matter which I choose, the messages keep coming. What do I do to get this to stop?

MacBook Air (2020 or later)
