Does the control center on the Mac work the same way as on iPhone?

Basically when you turn off your wifi in control center on a Mac running OS 12.3.1 Monterey will it in 24hrs automatically turn back on just like an iPhone, and a iPad?

Finder is not saving the "Show this iPhone (or iPad) when on Wi-Fi. Why am I not in control over my WiFi shutdown in the control center? I want to shut down my WiFi via the control center and back on via the same control center. That is why we have a control center, not? I can do it in settings but that is not so convenient, easy to do. And above that why should it be back on when I don not want that?? If you turn it off in Settings>WiFi, it will not turn back on by itself. If you turn it off in control center, it will turn back on at 5:00 AM or when your location changes. I think is an abuse of my privacy.

iMac wifi on or off? If already connected via ethernet to router. I want phone to get clean wifi signal if my iMac is connected to my router's wifi via ethernet cable, should I turn off wifi on my iMac? ie is there a conflict? What if I have two imacs in the house and both are connected to router via ethernet. Is there a problem ever with handoff ? thanks

Hello Coleco97,

The Wi-Fi setting in the Control Center on the Mac works different than it does on iOS devices. When you turn off Wi-Fi on the Mac, it stays off until you enable it again.
