Apple Studio Display is unstable

I purchased an Apple Studio Display shortly after it was released. I'm currently running Version 15.4 (Build 19E241) of firmware. I have weird problems that I've never had with a monitor before. I'm using it with a 2018 Mac mini (intel).

Monitor crashed -- just went black until I power cycled it
Suddenly changed to a scaled resolution when it came out of screen saver mode.
Video camera locks up (frames freeze) when using Google Meet, until I power cycle it.
Audio halts and drops out when using iPhone using Continuity (using Apple Studio Monitor as a speakerphone)

It basically doesn't function reliably as a monitor -- I've never had a monitor that "crashed" before.

Anyone else experiencing problems like this? Is there an upcoming firmware release that will stabilize it?

I'm putting it on its own power bar, with a power switch. This way when it crashes, I can reset it with my foot, and I don't have to crawl under my desk to power cycle it. Given that it is unreliable in so many ways, it is a doubly annoying that it doesn't have a power button.

I have had the monitor crash and lockup four times since I bought it (I have it connected to a MacBook Pro with an M1 Max). As much as I love this monitor display quality, for the price this is really unacceptable and I wish I had these problems back when I could actually return it, because I would have. As you, I have never had a monitor "crash" like this before. Today when I brought my laptop out of sleep, the display would not come up so I opened my laptop and unplugged the display. Presto, everything was fine. This is just not acceptable. I sure hope they will fix this with a firmware update.

Yea, I wish it had a power switch or even a reboot/reset button. That sounds funny now that I say it... I don't think I've ever rebooted a monitor before.
