Homepod Mini paired with Apple TV won’t play airplayed music

I’ve recently made Homepod Mini my default speaker for Apple TV. Then I noticed that when I’m airplaying music, the homepod mini remains quiet. Even if I turn on the tv and airplay Apple Music, the screen will say that it’s playing the song but no sound would come out.

I’ve seen similar issues here however only found months-old threads. Has anyone found a solution for this?
