While setting up a new iPhone 13, the iTunes purchases that I made with a word ID prior to 2014 (not an email address) would not be transferred. How do I recover the password is for this word ID, to avoid losing all of these purchases?
When you try to recover the password, you will probably be prompted to convert your word ID to the email address associated with the ID.
If you forgot the Apple ID (iCloud) password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification email option if necessary. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.
