Charging Apple Watch 7

Do you know if charging an Apple Watch 7 with an older charger (USB-A) is harmful for the Watch? I understand that it’s mainly about the charging time and it can still technically charge just fine. But I wanted to know if doing so would somehow damage the Watch in the long term? (I wanted spare chargers and didn’t want to necessarily buy so many new ones when I already had the old chargers.)
