Apple Watch series 1 won't charge

I know this is a very old question but I can’t find any answers. I still have my old series 1 Apple Watch and it has worked up until last year when I left it alone for around a month. I try to charge it and the apple logo keeps fading to red. Does it have to do with the battery or is it something else?

Charging Issues Hello, I have an older series 1 Apple Watch. When I put it on the charger, the white apple comes on and then disappears. It does this repeatedly during the entire time its on the charger. However, the watch does not get charged. As soon as I take it off the charger, it still does not turn on. Is this a battery issue or is my entire watch no longer good? Not sure where to start when getting it fixed.

Apple Watch Not Charging Hello, I have not used my apple watch in months. When i tried to charge it only shows the apple logo and goes back off. Keeps doing this when it is plugged to the charger, but does not come up, once you unplug it does not show anything at all.

Series 1 watch wont charge Hello,Recently i fell and smashed the screen on my series 3 watch and meantime i want to wear my old series 1 watch.It was fine when i put it away but now it wont charge and the only thing it does is show the little apple icon blinking but wont charge, i actually left it on the charger 24 hours but no difference.Can someone help? I am 75 years old and am NOT good with tech. Thank you so very much Fran Eversole
