Having updated software on iPad to iOS 15 I can no longer use reminders because every time I go into it it reloads all lists from scratch which takes fifteen or more minutes each time.

Should that behavior still persist, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support: Contact - Official Apple Support They'd be in the best position to look into this further.

Having updated to ios15 on iPad I can no longer use reminders as all lists reload everytime I go into Reminders. So it is almost twenty minutes before I can see list.
