iPhone and watch not syncing alarms

iPhone and watch not syncing alarms.

I have tried everything to get my watch and my iPhone to synchronize alarms. I have even reset my watch and started from scratch and made sure everything was updated and for some reason they still will not sync. To get my watch to actually work to wake me up in the morning with haptic feedback I have to set the alarm On the watch because if I said it on the phone my watch does not get the message. I have tried turning both the phone and the watch off and nothing seems to work. Anyone else having this problem please let me know if you have a solution thank you

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. Alarms are set separately on each device.

If your Apple Watch is connected to your iPhone at the time when an alarm on your iPhone falls due, then the alarm notification from your iPhone can be pushed to your Apple Watch if the relevant setting has been enabled:

On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Clock > turn on Push Alerts from iPhone.

Alarms that you set on your Apple Watch operate entirely independently of your paired iPhone:
