QuickMIDI and Keystation Mini32 MK3

I have MacBook Air M1, 2020 with macOS Monterey 12.3.1. I am trying to establish contact with my keystation, and have downloaded QuickMIDI. However, I can not activate the app, and I can not delete it either (the message is that it can not be deleted, because it is in use). Catch22.

can't launch QuickTime on Mac Air Ventura 13.2.1 I can't launch / open Quicktime on Mac Air Ventura 13.2.1. I can locate it via finder, shows as located in iCloud, double clic & the icon comes up but does not open. I have done the "turn it off and turn it back on again" more than once - still no go. Drug icon to trash & emptied trash, still shows with finder, still located in iCloud, still no go. HELP! I need to record an interview next week!

Cannot grant mic/camera permissions to apps (ex. Discord, zoom) Hello, I cannot seem to use any mic/camera feature in any third party app. My MacBook Pro is running macOS Monterey, fairly modern enough. My understanding is that these apps need to request for permission to use the microphone or camera, and as the user I would need to approve that in System Preferences. However, there are no requests for me to approve, and unlike the Accessibility tab where I can click a (+) symbol to manually add apps, I cannot do that in the Camera and Microphone tabs. I've looked online and it seems that this is a somewhat common issue for many, but I was unable to find any working solution. Discord and Zoom aren't able to use my microphone nor camera. I appreciate the safety features that are implemented in macOS, but it is now a hinderance and simply quite annoying.
