How can I get rid of unauthorized MDM connotations @Roikins

every device i own is being monitored because i have been illegally enrolled in the developer progran, education, enterprise and beta. the apple platform security and apple platform deployment guide explain very thoroughly that device management or supervision can be done manually and then automatically on boot through various identifiers. this is a major violation of my privacy and a huge flaw is apples privacy and security design. there is no accountability or authentication when employers or random people decide to take over another persons device and then life! @Roisin it is happening to me the EXACT same way!!!

thank you to those who actually BELIEVE me!

My phone is NOT “company owned”, it’s *mine* and I never gave anyone permission to supervise OR manage it. It shows no MDM profile.

I believe someone must be able to help me…. Please!

Apple did this by design. Errors happen, but it is incredibly rare. I manage thousands of devices and have for years (almost a decade actually), and I have never seen a device get mistakenly added to my environment. It's not possible to do remotely without the user's knowledge unless the device was enrolled by the reseller. For the reseller to be able to enroll a device, both the org and reseller exchange specific information that allows the information about devices to sync. A random reseller cannot add the device to a random org. If you do get tricked into manually enrolling your device, you can simply remove the profile. Apple has checks and balances both ways. If you bought a device used, you run the risk of getting a device that was stolen, not returned, lost, or improperly released by an org.

They do it through Microsoft on sync AD All that is needed is your phone number. Forward the confirmation text and boom! All devices linked to the Apple ID is theirs. This is a nightmare and apple knows it.

A supervised device is effectively if not actually owned and managed by the organization holding the supervisory lock, yes.

The device is either pre-enrolled by Apple at time of purchase, or the local user confirms the supervision.

This is specifically intended to keep device holders from stealing the organization’s assets.

You’re not the owner of a supervised device.

Okay so what previously posted were legit and how I wrote was bias and I apologize. From knowing nothing Jan 2020 to burying myself into computers. Learning json python, etc but the best part is I don’t sound crazy because I know these things now. My had used this against me and I’m waiting for them to get back me but people aren’t so nice these days they exploit little holes and do such bad things. I have to remind my self that there are geniuses building these sites. My neighbor write that BOA whole platform things and I trust him. While we can find a flaw (because we have extra time) these guys are still finding1000 but there a lot better than me and I trust them

I have the same story you do, except i was targeted by whomever was able to mine crypto on Centriserve IT servers, and 250 other computers in the office on a Sunday evening at 7p, when my sorry behind was dropping off a new shredder at our corporate office. Im in no way IT, but I know how to be nosy as all get out, and go searching my work HD for stuff i dont recognize, find what i assume was the link to "their" machine still open, and just start deleting files that had anything to do with crypto, mining, MS Edge, and any foreign language-titled files. Next thing i knew, BRICK!

What is Skywalk and how can someone be connecting to me THROUGH it, and run some kind of "flow" something or another when i have not consented (and that is actually a property saying i have not consented)?

“The SkyWalk subsystem is an entirely undocumented networking subsystem in XNU. It provides the interconnection between other networking subsystems, such as bluetooth and user-mode tunnels. Although built-in to XNU, its source remains closed,…”

XNU is the name of the operating system kernel used by iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.

Consider acquiring the volumes of the New OS X Book, where the above quote was sourced, as that resource might help your efforts to ad-hoc reverse-engineer the operating system and its components. Or sure, you can continue to “not consented” your way through the whole platform, finding and posting innocuous and benign analytics, debug, or loggings strings. Given your more general quest, I’d suggest a macOS or iOS forensics book, but don’t have specific recommendations there

Same thing happened to me by a family member. I had a falling out with my brother and Dad. I was running a large department of a family business. All of my children had worked there at one time or another. They also used their own macbooks at work. What I didnt realize was we had given Drop Box full access to our drives. My Dad was upset and thought I was going to take his info on drop box and use it or something so he hired a firm out of india with access to Apple Servers and literally took over all of the devices in my home. I cant even wipe them and reinstall IOS due to the serial numbers being entered on some kind of device management system from Apple. I get a modified version of IOS with all kinds of crap on with stuff showing up having acccess to my drive like BT Server and shenkey etc etc. The only way I can use them is to download Little snitch and block all of the crap that tries to connect etc etc. which is a pain in the ***.

This is a civil or potentially a criminal matter, and not something that can be addressed through technical means.

Particularly not after what has already reportedly transpired.

Contact a lawyer.

This is also entirely unrelated to MDM and supervised devices.
