Important Carrier Message notification EVERY DAY!!!!!!

I am using iPhone12 iOS 15.4.1, China Unicom carrier in China. After some version of iOS 15, I get the Important Carrier Message notification every day, frequently. Several times a day.

Sometime when I am asleep very late at night, then I get this notification, then I am waked up by this message, by the notification sound.

And I can't find any place to close this notification. This is a ******* ANNOYING. This is a ******* ridiculous software design. PLEASE FIX!!!!!!!

Then contact the carrier and ask them how to remove it.

The carrier’s software profile IS an app. (It’s just not an app you can delete from the screen)

They appear to be mis-applying the intent of APNs to display these annoying messages with EVERY connection AND reconnection (vice just the 1st).

The carrier message I get in English is “Dear users, welcome to use China Unicom's services“.

I think the message is when iPhone disconnect from the carrier, then at som time reconnect to the carrier, then get the welcome message.

If some app push notifications frequently, I will disable the notification or sound.

"important carrier message" should give an options to be muted too.

This is ABSOLUTELY an apple issue.

Since app can be removed, but sim card can't be removed.

This is not an iPhone or Apple issue, if your carrier is putting out messages, you need to contact them.

It's just a welcome message from the carrier. the message has been many years. they won't remove it just because iPhone iOS version 15 has this bug.

And, I don't need a carrier update, and there are no carrier update instructions at Settings > General > About.

In addition, from wikipedia: China Unicom is the third-largest wireless carrier in China, with 310.45 million subscribers as of June 2021.

Please stop posting screenshots, it's redundant and makes it very hard to scroll through your post.

How is this an Apple issue, the message is coming froom your carrier.

If you want to make a suggestion to Apple, go here. Again this is a user to user forum, no one here can chang what you carrier is doing.

this is not the problem of carrier

there are no such issue people using Android, or iPhone before iOS version 15

Today I have upgrade to iOS 15.5, but I still get this message with sound.

I still can't find a way to disable the sound.

WTF!!!!!!!
