Apple Watch indoor run accuracy

We’ve used other sports watches that have been pretty good at recording indoor runs. The Apple Watch seems to be less accurate with pace and distance. For example Indoor run 4K takes the same time as outdoor run 5k it’s very frustrating any ideas if this has been flagged up with apple

Apple Watch calibration Does anyone know why the Apple Watch is so far off as much as 12 feet on the exactly same route. I had a friend and we get totally different results with the exactly same settings, elevation, steps etc. someone told me the watch is just a toy and it’s accuracy is not respected by any health professional because it’s metrics are completely inaccurate most of the time.Is that true?

Apple Watch distance accuracy I walk at the same park everyday. But the distance measured is different everyday. It varies from 280 metres to 350 metres for the same round of the park. What can be done to get the watch to measure this distance in a more consistent way?
