I have been to our Iowa store twice, they refuse to give me my money back! I have their dated return receipt but they say I can’t have my cash,
I have additional proof!

Perhaps there may be different rules they're looking at. Usually within 14-days from date of purchase, at official Apple store or official online Apple store, & product in original condition; you should be able to get a refund. There may be a restocking fee.
However should the reseller only be an 'authorized' Apple reseller, that's not the same as Official Apple Store.
The main difference in this, an authorized reseller is likely an Independent Business, that is not Apple, Inc.
Some products have a different set of rules to exchange or refund; just like some have better warranty, or have none; where 'international coverage' may be an exception.
Because 'discussions' are not directly affiliated with Apple; depending on actual status, Get Support can show options.
An Apple retail store gives you more options; but the time-frame is important, as windows-of-opportunity go.

..Best I can figure, some time limit may have passed..
I am working directly with Apple and phones were returned within 36 hours and accepted by apple. I have their receipt and they still refuse to reimburse me! I am left with no choice but to turn Apple in to the veteran advocate at the VA. I also asked them for store film, they refused.
