Macbook Air Keyboard backlid not working

Hi All,


Macbook Keyboard backlid is not working after upgrade to macOS Monterey, even option of keyboard light on low light is gone, only keyboard illuminate before login screen. F5 and F6 or from control center it do not work.


Please help it anyone facing the same? it 2018 MacBook air 13.3 retina display.

Hi,

Resetting SMC could solve the issue.

How to reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support

If it doesn't help, try to check your keyboard backlight with Apple Diagnostics if it reports something related backlight error(ALS001).
