How to delete PDF files
I wish to delete some PDF files on my iPad Pro but when I select them the “Move” and “Delete” options are blanked out and the “More” option only offers “Compress” or “Copy”. How do I remove them?

From within which App are you attempting to delete Files?
If deletion options are not immediately obvious, swiping a filename (that appears in a file-list) to the left will often expose a Delete option.
