touch bar fully lit, non functional and hot, causing shutdown

In my mac pro 13" thetouch bar fully lit, non functional and hot, causing shutdown. Need urgent help!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

Which 13" MBP is this...


Intel—

Try resetting the SMC How to reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support


Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NRAM Reset)



M1—

equivalent Shut down, close the lid 30 secs+ , reboot as normal.

If no resolve try SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support to sort anomalies.




if no resolve it typically indicates a hardware issue:
