I have an iPhone XR and I do you have a lot of apps, I want to know what I can do to organize all the apps on my home screen without organizing pages. Because each page has a huge gap and that’s what I don’t want to do is the mess around with that… Isn’t there some thing through Settings or an app that I can get that will do this?

Tap and hold any icon until they all jiggle then drag them one at a time to the preferred home screens. I like to move them vertically a tad before moving across to the adjoining Home Screen.
There is no icon manager that I know of, it is a manual process.
You can try Settings, General, Transfer or reset iPhone, Reset, Reset home screen layout first but it may add Apple icons back that you don't really want.
