Limit number of aliases for "Hide my Email"?

Create as many as you want. There is no limit mentioned. It is so you can communicate with a particular site. There are a bazillion sites out there(so to speak), so create a bazillion, I guess.

The iCloud terms do indicate Apple can limit or remove aliases at their whim. That's a normal terms of service thing.

I get you feel there's no limit; I am looking for an official answer from Apple. There may not be one. But I see people on reddit getting limited after 30 addresses, or so. I wonder if the different tiers of iCloud+ have anything to do with it...or it's just a random error.

Three Aliases Max:

1. Go Here: Add and Manage eMail Aliases for iCloud Mail on iCloud.com - Apple Support
2. As it Reads: "you can create up to three @icloud.com email aliases on iCloud.com."

There might be some kind of limit imposed. I came to this thread looking for the answer to the question. I'm transitioning my accounts on sites to iCloud addresses using Hide My Mail and I got an error last night that I can't create any more right now. Today it's fine but I just want the answer.

Worst case, if there is some kind of limit, I can combine them for similar things...like for social media, shopping, etc.

That's great to know. Just would like to know officially. Not that it's easy to count them.
