My neighbor lost his AirPods and Find My app on his phone is pointing my house where is two doors down from his house as last known location. We have absolutely nothing to do with their disappearance.
How is it showing a wrong location?

Either the devices are at your location, or your neighbor is misrepresenting the location, or the devices are being mis-located. Each of these cases is entirely possible, and conceivably otherwise. Nobody here can determine which one of these cases what happened here, and you’re probably best contacting local police, as there is clearly already a mess here.
