I have 49.3GB of documents and data in my voice memos, which I cannot get rid of. I have removed all voice memos, I updated the settings to remove deleted memos immediately, and I tried deleting and reinstalling the voice memos app. However, nothing seems to get rid of the documents and data. Is there any way to clean this out?

I synced and backed up my iPhone to my computer with iTunes, and when I did that it showed that all the voice memos are still in there. I can view or play them, but iTunes doesn’t show any option to delete them.
This is starting to seem like a serious bug.
You may try to disable Voice Memo from iCloud (Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Voice Memo [Disable] too. You will not be able to undo this action.
Looked in there and it seems that I had previously disabled it. Just tried re-enabling and disabling again, to see if that would do anything, but nothing changed.
