Tingling on the top of where my ear connects to my head

It started with my left ear, now both of my ears get tingly and numb seemingly randomly after but it seems to be when i use my airpods.

It hasnt been much of an issue recently being busy at work, with a newborn, and managing my housemates; I havent had time to use my airpods. But today I used them and it came back within minutes. The more i think about it tho, the more it makes sense. Imagine all the different frequencies coming off of them! And we put them in our heads! I assume apple did their testing, and i hope its not the airpods because they ARE amazingly useful!
