How do I get iCloud mail folders from On My Mac to also appear in Mail on my iPad?

Are you syncing Mail with iCloud? Are the folders at iCloud.com/Mail? If the folders are On your Mac part of Mail application, they won't sync to iCloud or your iPad.

Thanks. I now realize that only Smart Folders synch between a Mac and an iPad. So I just created a new Smart Folder and included all the messages from the On My Mac folder. This works fine.
