Battery Health Issue

I have an iPhone 13pro max and it has been 2months I am using and today I just noticed that it’s battery health just came down to 99% and my screen time is not even 5 hours and due to this I am little tensed.

But at the same time my friends device which is same as mine and is 5 months old has a full battery life and his avg screen time is 6hours a day so why my battery health is low 😫.

Hey there,

that’s normal!

Battery life” is the amount of time a device runs before it needs to be recharged. “Battery lifespan” is the amount of time a battery lasts until it needs to be replaced. One factor affecting battery life and lifespan is the mix of things you do with your device. No matter how you use it, there are ways to help. A battery’s lifespan is related to its “chemical age,” which is more than just the passage of time. It includes different factors, such as the number of charge cycles and how it was cared for. Follow these tips to maximize battery performance and help extend battery lifespan. For example, keep iPhone half-charged when it’s stored for the long term. Also avoid charging or leaving iPhone in hot environments, including direct sun exposure, for extended periods of time.

There's no accounting for how much power the applications you use consume compared to what someone else might. Also - I wouldn't look at the "Battery Health" and assume that it's accurate up to the minute. It's clearly not a "real time" indicator, and it updates at unpredictable times. I suspect that it can (but doesn't always) put off when a new update to the number drops. I've personally seen it drop 3-4% overnight where it seemed stable for month or up to a year. That's just sort of how it works.
