iPhone stuck in recovery mode

so i have an iPhone xs max and i wanted to restore it to an old backup that i had so i tried to erase it but nothing happened so i plugged it into my MacBook and i used finder to erase it and it said there was a problem with the device and so i pressed restore and after a while i checkd on it and the phone was in recovery mode and there was a message saying that the firmware was corrupt and now it is stuck in recovery mode.

so far i have tried.

  1. restarting both devices
  2. using an apple cable and another cable
  3. using a different windows laptop
  4. used 3rd party programs and none of them worked

i would really like some help with this thanks :)
