When exporting 50+ images from Lightroom to my MacBook M1 Max (64GB RAM), the fans build up to run at full speed. Under the laptop gets quite warm while the fans are also loud.

From what I can gather, this isn't normal - but due to this being my everyday work MacBook, I'm unable to send it off to be inspected. Can anyone help?

This is a normal designed-in occurrence. Under heavy load, the fans will attempt to cool down the Mac's insides. It's only a problem if they never go back to the normal 1200 or so RPM.
