My iCloud email is not showing a category for the inbox. Drafts, sent, junk and trash are listed. How do I fix?

My dad’s iPhone 8 iCloud account is not showing a category for inbox. I am seeing drafts, sent, junk and trash. How do I fix to see what’s in the inbox?

IOS Mail Deleted my Emails I Tried to Move I just created a new mailbox to file a group of emails for my kid’s school. I selected said emails, moved to the new folder but now they are completely gone!! I have checked every other mailbox folder, trash and done a search and none of them show up! I am 100% sure it’s not user error in moving them. It is my iCloud account and I’ve tried removing it from Mail and adding it again, restarting my phone. What else can I try? These were kind of important emails. Help!

Have you tried deleting the account(s), restarting the device, and then adding the account(s) back?
