Copy and paste file names

I use this feature 20+ times a day. Select a group of pdfs, command c then paste list of file names into email or Basecamp. Now the entire file copies. Did this change over the weekend? Is there a workaround?

On macOS of all versions " Command + C " will product what you have described.

At least is has worked in OS X Tiger version 10.4 and every single version there after including macOS Monterey version 12.4
