unable to delete 18+ GB file

clearing up space at system insistence and found this file - Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - never opened kind is other and its 18.35 GB's - show in finder reveals nothing - search in finder and applications reveals nothing - the deletion window of MacBook Pro using Mojave does nothing - any ideas how I might get rid of this annoyance to regain that space?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.14

Reinstall, then uninstall it.***

  • As it reads: "SOLVED: I re-installed the application, and uninstalled it again.: My storage space freed up, and I no longer saw the faux Application in my System Information."
  • Provided screenshot on post.

See this Google Search Queue: "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" site:discussions.apple.com

Contact the Developer:

In that search queue, about 62 results come up. Looking at the dates, this does seem to be a common issue, over the past few years. So, contact the developer: Hidden Path Entertainment at: https://www.hiddenpath.com/contact/***

If you hear back format he Developer, report back what they say, and what they recommend for a solution. I am eager to know.

I was unable to find any info about how to contact valve - all links went to corporate as hiring but no developer contact info - so as a previous person stated download and install and then uninstall - so downloaded and installed and then I think I uninstalled but am not sure as it now shows up in the find all app but in getting info on it it only shows a few MBs instead of 18 GBs - if someone could tell me how to get the system info window that I previously posted a screen shot of so I can look at what's there now I would greatly appreciate that - I want to make sure it is not there as a remainder of the previous install - just can't figure out how I got that window open without it telling me I need to free up space?

haven't heard anything from the developer yet but think I got it - used the info re install and uninstall via steam and it is now gone from my steam library - I wasn't looking for system info but the window I posted pointed to my MBP applications folder - once I set the view options to what appears in the window I posted which is a system generated window for deletion of files taking up too much space - not sure how to get that window except thru the system when it thinks your out of space - anyway - I opened a finder window - selected the MBP then applications - view options similar to what is in that window and looked thru it for the SC: GO file and it does not appear in the window I am currently using - not sure if I run out of space again if it will be in the resulting window again but at least I have 75 or so gigs back now - thanks for everyones help - I hope its solved but cant be sure without seeing that exact window the system generated when I was out of space as in the capture posted above! If anyone knows how to see that exact set up other than what ive done with a finder window please let me know but am going to put it to bed for now - until I run out of space again - LoL
