Microphone Icon Top Right of Screen

There’s a pulsating microphone icon at the top right of my screen. In settings->accessibility, voice control is OFF. When I tap on the icon, my banking app appears. What gives?

the orange dot / microphone use -- active or no? my orange dot, i found out, indicates the microphone is being used. i'm using the amazon app and the orange dot is on constantly -- does this mean my microphone is ON or does it mean that the app has been given access to the microphone? i opened the app but haven't initiated the voice activated text, which i would use to put in a search bar and then search. the orange dot is there even though i'm not actively using my microphone. curious as to what the orange dot means exactly.

Orange dot (mic indicator) bug on 14 Pro Max? The orange microphone indicator dot on my new iPhone 14 Pro Max seems to be moving around in a strange way. This is what it looks like while on the call screen: When I swipe up to go to the Home Screen or any other app, it moves to the far right: It is then located on the far edge of the rounded display corner, which does not look right to me. Anyone else noticed this?
