Need Accessibility/Switch Control help please

Does anyone know how to use Switch Control/other Accessibility features? I'm trying to turn off SC in Settings, but it's still on ... the space bar just keeps highlighting areas (the default setting,) but how do i stop it, when the Setting is off?? or, how do i reset my iMac to the default settings without erasing data like on other Apple devices?

(was trying to use iPad to control iMac & made a huge mess of everything somehow!)

gamepad controller mapped to Launchpad Since I have upgraded to Mac OS Ventura, I see that one of the Menu buttons on my HORI Gamepad is already mapped to a function in the Mac OS. When I press this button, it automatically switches focus to the Launchpad app and shows my 'Games' installed on my Mac. I have not found a way of disabling this mapping in Mac OS in the System Settings/Game Controllers/ Anyone else have this issue?

Three finger tap lookup in Ventura is gone? Hi, I've been deferring MacOS upgrades for a couple of years (ageing hardware couldn't take the new releases). Just purchased a new Mac and wanted to keep on reading in foreign languages I'm learning. I used to tap three fingers on the trackpad to lookup, but that option seems to be gone in Ventura. Is there a terminal / hidden settings thingy I could do to make it come back? Thanks
