Can Apple Pencil 2 be repaired?

Hi! My Apple Pencil stopped working - it connects to the tablet, the double tap is working, but it’s not writing. The nib is well attached, not loose. Tried to reconnect the Pencil to the tablet several times with no result. Has anyone encountered such an issue and do you know if the pencil can be repaired or it should be replaced (it ‘s still in warranty)? Thanks in advance!

Given your description, it is possible that the fragile metal transducer, located beneath the user-replaceable plastic tip, has suffered damage - the transducer being the key component that interacts with the iPad screen. Pencil repairs are typically facilitated by exchange for a working Pencil.

As your Pencil is within its one year warranty, you should seek assistance from the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store:
