Express Travel Card option not working

Hi I am trying to use the Express Travel mode on my phone for payment in Singapore public transport system. However, it keeps asking me for authenticating via face-id even though I have the option of Express Travel Card activated. Where am I going wrong? Any pointers would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you been able to use Express Mode successfully at any transit locations? If it's just the one location, you'll want to contact the transit authority to let them know.

If it's all locations, then we'd suggest trying these troubleshooting steps:

Restart your iPhone, as this simple step can resolve unexpected issues: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
If still an issue, try to remove the card, and set it back up again: Use Express Mode with cards, passes, and keys in Apple Wallet - Apple Support
