Smart album continues to crash Photos when I try to filter for a keyword.
I have macOS Monterey version 12.3.1 installed.
I've been using this photo file all along, but just started crashing on the keyword today.
I have not added ethnic characters to any keywords.
I have 38.8GB free.
My system won't start in Safe Mode either. Boo!! - I tried it several times and on the last time I noticed an update was available. I installed the update and it did not help.
Photos still crashes - Quits unexpectedly - when I try to filter for a keyword from a Smart Album.
Well I found the problem! When I looked again at my keywords there was one set as /
I'm not sure how that happened, but when I deleted it the problem was fixed.
Thanks to you for trying to help!
Try starting in Safe Mode and see if it still happens, and if it goes away when you re-boot into regular mode.

Which system version do you have installed? I had this only happen on macOS 10.14 Mojave.
Do your keywords contain special ethnic characters?
Or are you running out of storage on your Mac?
