Hello , I cannot open PDF files for the last few days when they come as attachments to my GMail account to my Mac . They open fine on the iPhone and iPad . Apple support could not help fix this.

Open mail app select Mail>Preferences>Privacy disable and compare your results
• “Protect Mail Activity” /
• “Hide IP address” /
• “Block all remote content”

Are you downloading the documents to your computer before trying to open them?
Sorry as forgot to mention that its a Macbook 12" using macOS Big Sur 11.6.6
Cannot open it when I want to read them from my mail itself . If i save the attachment on my computer and try then it works fine and open
