Album cover doesn't visible in car since latest iOS 15.5 upgrade via BT (All cars/devices are affected)

I finally get definitive answer from Apple customer service: bug will be solve with iOS16 (probably not before). Good news is that the problem is well known by Apple developers. Then wait and see on future updates.

After the long wait for the next iOS update, I'm still facing the same issue after updating to 15.6. Album art is still missing, playtime is mismatched sometimes.

I have already done all the possible workaround to fix this:

• Update iOS
• Reset iPhone network settings
• Update Spotify to the latest version
• Unpair and pair bluetooth connection

None worked like how it was before iOS 15.4.

Why are we going back with the updates, Apple?

IOS 16 Didn’t fix the cover art issue 😖

Hello, I can confirm this issue since IOS 15.5.

with the normal Bluetooth connection in my BMW I had Covers. Since the update the cover don’t appear anymore. With the in Car Spotify App over USB everything is fine. But I prefer the Bluetooth connection. Seems like the new iOS update messed up some protocols?

After the last update on the iphone 13 Pro, I have the same problem with spotify, no album covers via BT or USB the same ...: / but this thing on the Apple side is something wrong with the sending of photos oromes, because with Tidal the same… is there anything known about fix this?

I use the Evermusic Pro app and connect to my car using a USB cord, all album artwork was working fine even the morning of before I did the update. The moment I updated to 15.5 all album artwork stoped appearing except for artwork through the Apple Music app.

Unfortunately no fix yet. There wasn't (and probably never gonna be) a 15.5.1 update. Let's be patient for Apple to release 15.6 maybe with a fix.

Also since the only app that's shows album art is apple music, makes me wonder if it's connected with the known bug with apple music and dock.

I am having the same problem… iPhone 11 pro max here. Ever since I updated my phone (which I delayed for weeks), I am having the issue. After the first song it disappears 😔. Apple music works fine strange enough but I don’t even use that. Need this fixed!!!!

Since yesterday album art via Spotify is back! Have tested many times. Turn off and turn on my car again during day. Changed play list, everything is working as before. No new updates were installed. iOS 15.5 still and Spotify.38 version. Server update?

Still having issues on my end. Everything is up to date including the app and still persists. Album cover shows for a song and afterward its gone, along with the length of the song being off. I drive a 2015 bmw. So frustrating!
