IMAC Pro cursor randomly turns into spinning wheel until I move it.

Running macOS Mojave (10.14.6) on iMac Pro. Regardless of which program is running the cursor turns into a spinning wheel when not in use - moving the mouse brings the cursor back. I'm using Accessibility Preference to increase cursor size. Anyone else have this problem?

iMac Pro, macOS 10.14

Hello bobbyfrompittsburgh,

A spinning disk pointer can indicate that items are loading, or it may appear when there is a delay of more than a few seconds. You can find more information about that, and macOS pointers here: Pointers in macOS

Appears when items are loading. You can still move the pointer elsewhere.

Just to confirm, does this happen only when using certain apps, or does it happen constantly? When the issue happens, does your Mac seem to run slowly?

If your Mac is  running slowly, this link outlines some things to check and try, that may help: If your Mac runs slowly

Thanks!
