Can I open Apple ProRAW in Adobe Camera Raw?

Hi, I was trying to edit my ProRAW photo in Adobe Photoshop. The extension in Adobe Photoshop for the ProRAW photo is .tiff, instead of .dng. How can I import the .dng file into Photoshop such that Adobe Camera Raw opens to allow RAW file editing?

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 15

First, check your version of Adobe Camera Raw. It should be at least v14.0. At present 14.3 is available.

Second, you *MAY* have to use Adobe DNG Converter. The literature I could find only mentioned ProRAW support in Lightroom.

See this article for more info --> About Apple ProRAW - Apple Support. ProRaw images are supposed to be .DNG format but some reviewers claim it's a TIFF file embedded in a DNG wrapper - this may be where PS stumbles.
