Force app to use Intel UHD graphics card instead of AMD Radeon on a MacBook Pro

I have an NEC SpectraView II display calibration app that plays nice with my MacMini using its internal Intel UHD 630 graphics card.

It doesn't work with my MacBook Pro, which has both the Intel UHD 630 and the AMD Radeon Pro 5500M video cards. I have already tried disabling the auto switching in the Battery configuration to no avail.

How can I force my MacBook Pro to use the Intel card, to hopefully allow the use of the SpectraView app?

Thanks

Mark

This is the first article that popped up— I can not speak to it, but you can report back you experience, caveat emptor:

What you are asking is for the Integrated gfx card "Force app to use Intel UHD graphics card "

# Always use the integrated graphics card
sudo pmset -a gpuswitch 0

other notes:

gSwitch (macOS 10.12 or newer) https://codyschrank.github.io/gSwitch

If you install a Discrete GPU-disabler, you lose the ability for Mac sleep.  however the Display sleeps fine.

What exact MacBook Pro is this you are referring to...?

An external display will always call on the Discrete gfx card.
