I bought a Zmuipng USB-C Hub for my MacBook Air so that I could use a usb mouse and a monitor. Instead of going into sleep mode my computer now restarts and tells me that I have a "kernel panic" and it restarted because of a problem. Any work arounds for this? thanks

Most kernel panic events are caused by defective hardware. Disconnect the hub and / or devices connected to it, and determine if they cease or persist.

I've never heard of the "Zmuipng" brand before, but if you only get Kernel Panics when this hub is connected, then it probably means this hub is bad or it is not compatible with your Mac or perhaps it is not compatible with one or more of the connected devices.
