When I send an email from my icloud account the sender name appears as someone else's name to the reciever. How do I resolve this please on a macbook air.

When a mail is composed Write and send emails in Mail on Mac - Apple Support your contact name is absorbed from address book , if it's incorrect that has to be edited Create or edit contacts in Contacts on iCloud.com - Apple Support
