What is Mac eith Apple M1 Chip

I tried to download an app from Apple Store for Arrivecan, I received an error message that my IMac is not compatible macOS must be 11.0 or later and a Mac with Apple M1 Chip. My OS is 12.3.1 monterey. what do I need to do to get this app.

You need a new Macintosh built on the Apple Silicon M1 processor chip.

Apple unleashes M1 - Apple


That's the newest iMac (24", M1, 2021) iMac 24-inch - Apple

Or the Mac mini (M1, 2020) Mac mini - Apple

Or the newest MacBook Pro laptops.


Anything older is built on the Intel cpu.


There is no other way around it with your current Mac computer.
