how do you prevent an app from starting on its own when your phone is in your pocket? When I started a walk I made sure all my apps were closed and I was on the first page screen. as I was walking my phone dialed the first number on my contact list! this is annoying and embarrassing! I googled but it wasn't helpful. Thank you

FIRST: Stop making sure all apps are closed→Do not close "background" apps | Communities. Among other things, that does not prevent any apps from launching again.
SECOND: Put a passcode on your phone, and always lock it with the SIDE button before putting it in your pocket. This will prevent the phone from doing anything except make emergency calls.
THIRD: If you insist on putting an unprotected $1,000 phone loose in your pocket put it with the screen facing away from your body, so the proximity to your skin doesn’t activate anything on the screen. Better yet, put a case on the phone that covers the screen when not in use.
