Upon an AppleID "Deletion" ... If you haven't offloaded the data "somewhere else" ...


... It's "wiped slick" and unrecoveable.


The AppleID "deletion" process informs you of this with dire warnings AND gives you abt a 2-week cooling-off period to "reconsider" the cancellation.


Be VERY careful and sure of what you're doing w/ Delete.

Deactivate is a less extreme and much more forgiving alternative ... it effectively "freezes" everything ... but the account can be subsequently "reactivated" ... or deleted.
