My whatsapp app is too big to access on my iPhone 6S 32GB. I have deleted everything I can on my phone but there is still not enough memory to open WhatsApp to delete all the excessive media stored on the app to be able to use it. Is there any way to delete media from WhatsApp without downloading it?

Yeh, but WhatsApp support said they would reply in 2 to 3 days and I didn’t want to be locked out that long. In fact I seem to have solved the problem by updating my phone’s iso system via iTunes for windows!
