I can't add a New Album or Folder to the Photo library.

Nothing happens after trying to add a New Album or Folder to the Photo library.

iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 12.3

New albums show all photos in app, not just selected ones When making a new album in Photos that holds only selected pictures, the albums are hidden in folders and hold all the pictures/albums in Photos, not just selected pictures. How do I fix this?

Photo albums In the past I have created a number of albums in 'My Albums' and then added individual photos to the new album. Simple. Today, when I click the + sign next to My Albums, nothing happens. In the past a new box would appear under My Albums which I would then name and add to. I have spent over an hour on this so any suggestions welcome.

Cannot access albums when uploading photos I can no longer access my photo Albums when I am searching my Library for a photo to upload. I can search by Media Type or Keyword, but I am not able to search by Album. The first photo is from the Apple Support page when I this issue. The second photo is what MY photo upload screen looks like. Thanks!

Are you trying to create a new folder or album in Photos, or are you trying to import a folder with image files to Photos as a new album? How are you doing this and what is happening, when you try it? Where is it going wrong?
