Apple Watch pairing

i got a new phone and did the iPhone to iPhone transfer it prompts. Everything switched over .. including my watch. My watch works, gets texts messages everything but my phone says it’s not connected under Bluetooth and when I open the watch app on my phone it wants to connect a watch. My watch doesn’t have a connect button as it thinks it’s already connected
