Apps crash instantly on iPhone after they are opened

Hi! My phone is unstable.

Here are the stuff for proof

When I double click the home button (the tabs of the phone), The icons are blank

Weather, Books, Clock, Settings, Translate, and other apps crash instantly after they are opened

Tips says "Can't get tips. Try again later."

Usually, but not common, Safari has "Webkit encountered a internal error." and "A problem repeatedly occurred."

When I try to delete photos from the Photos app, usually go back where they were, If a photo was in Recently Deleted, and it was deleted, It stays in the Recently Deleted Folder (this doesn't occur commonly)

When I tried to install Discord, It's stuck for over 48 hours on the spinning gray thing

There may be other errors.

Is this a glitch?

Is my phone bricked?

Troubleshooting a Failing iPhone:

What to try...

A. Clear "Other":

Clear the storage named "Other". It basically contains unnecessary files such as caches that are used for system ease of use - all of which gather over time: How to Clear "Other" in your iPhone's Storage - Use Backup - User Tips. Caches would be being used for remembrance of application use.

If of no success...

B. Reset to Factory Settings:

One thing to consider is to restore the iPhone to factory settings. Use of this Link: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to Factory Settings - Apple Support. Important - back up first, as mentioned in that link.

Important:

On the iPhone Both Before and After the Reset:

Enable different iCloud settings(i.e. Contactsand Photos) on your iPhone, so that they are restorable, after the reset...

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Your Name (Top Item)
  3. Tap: iCloud
  4. Tap: Contacts [and/or other settings] (so that it is green in-color)

new glitch: All my apps lost access to the photos, camera, microphone, maybe other etc"

real_jc ~ That confirms what I wrote before about the battery being borderline unhealthy. The next stage you can expect is that, when you turn on your iPhone 8 Plus, its weak, original battery won't provide sufficient power to go beyond the Apple logo. And the stage after that is just a black screen. Also, you won't be able to back it up before having the battery replaced:

Get this Serviced:

Sounds like all the basics were tried here. So, see about getting this serviced.

A. Set Up a Genius Bar Appointment:

Set up a Genius Bar Appointment (GBA) at your local Apple Store.

  1. Go here: Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple
  2. Scroll Down: to the Bottom of the page
  3. Click: the Get hardware help button
  4. Proceed from there as necessary.

or...

B. Take to an AASP:

  1. Go Here: Find Locations - Apple Authorized Reseller
  2. Click: Service & Support
  3. Enter: your location information
  4. See: if there is an AASP nearby
  5. Contact: an AASP that shows up, and find out more about the services that they offer to fix the iPhone.

or...

C. Take to a Retailer:

Contact your local retailer, seeing if they service iPhones.

As you said your phone has a cracked back, it has hardware problems. There’s no point in reporting new examples of its problems. Your only option is to arrange for a repair, which for that model means a replacement at a discounted price for the same model if you still want an 8 Plus. But that model is kind of long in the tooth; you should consider a current model.
